Quality Administrator

We are seeking a Quality Administrator to provide high-quality and pro-active administrative service for Quality across the group.

The successful candidate will provide a professional, supportive and customer-oriented service to support the Senior Executive Team. 

In this role you will provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active administration service to quality assurance and improvement across the group and be the first point of contact to all staff and external trainers for Education and Professional Learning, referring to the Group Education and Professional Learning and Quality Managers as appropriate.

Although the role will be based at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, you will have the opportunity to work across the Group and may be required to travel to One Sixth Form in Ipswich and Abbeygate Sixth Form College in Bury St Edmunds.

Web and Digital Coordinator

We are looking for a competent Web and Digital Coordinator to support and optimize our group’s digital marketing presence and program. Duties for this role will include tracking campaigns progress, developing various digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, and streamlining digital marketing production, and handling general digital marketing activities.

Creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing our image and encouraging student growth through effective campaigns.

Group Transactional HR Co-ordinator

  • West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds / Hybrid role
  • 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Permanent
  • Salary:£24,636 - £26,310 gross per annum

The Eastern Colleges Group prides itself on sourcing and employing the best talent to deliver a great student experience. We are seeking to appoint a proactive and customer focussed Transactional HR Co-ordinator to work closely with the Group Recruitment Manager.

A key element of this role is to oversee the pre-employment check process for new starters across the Group, co-ordinating the work of the HR Administrators to ensure that checks (e.g. DBS checks, references) are processed efficiently and that an excellent level of customer service is provided to new starters.

You will support our HR Administrators and ensure that all HR transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, working closely with our Payroll Teams; this includes the setting up of new starters, processing of variations to contracts, leavers and reviewing expiring fixed term contracts.

You will also work with the Group Recruitment Manager to support the implementation of our new HR system – iTrent – and work collaboratively to develop and improve our processes.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in HR Administration, with a sound understanding of the employee lifecycle. Experience of HR Administration within an educational environment would be advantageous, as would experience of our HR system – iTrent, but training will be given if you are unfamiliar with this system. You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with staff at all levels across the business.

This is a hybrid role, with a blend of home working and on-site working as business needs dictate.

This is the perfect role for somebody who is currently working in an administrative role but is looking to take that next step into P.A. position. In this role you will gain experience working within a busy office. This role provides assistance to our Senior Leadership Team, working effectively with the Executive Assistants to ensure seamless support for the CEO, Principals & Deputy Principals.
