The College Day
To help us transition smoothly into our new calendar, we are making a small adjustment to lesson lengths while keeping the start and finish times of the day exactly the same.
From September 2026
From September 2026, the college will move to new term dates and a revised timetable structure designed to:
- Increase teaching time before students sit exams
- Reduce time in college after exams conclude
- Better support students at enrolment and on A-level results day
- Introduce a two-week October half term to support wellbeing and reduce seasonal illness
Daily timings from September 2026
- Session 1: 09:10 – 10:30
- Break: 10:30 – 10:40
- Session 2: 10:40 – 12:00
- Break: 12:00 – 12:10
- Session 3: 12:10 – 13:30
- Lunch: 13:30 – 14:15
- Session 4: 14:15 – 15:35
