Student-Designed Leadership Conference Inspires Eastern Education Group Ambassadors
Back
On Wednesday, we were proud to host a spectacular Leadership Conference for our Eastern Education Group Student Ambassadors, a day that truly captured the power and purpose of student leadership.
Designed by Students, for Students
What made this event so special was simple: it was designed by our students.
From shaping the agenda to influencing the themes and focus of the sessions, our ambassadors played a central role in bringing the conference to life. Their creativity, professionalism and ambition were evident throughout the day, setting the tone for an event that felt authentic, empowering and forward-thinking.
A Powerful Full-Circle Moment
Our keynote address and workshop sessions were designed and delivered by former students, creating a powerful full-circle experience. Alumni returned not only to share their journeys, but to inspire the next generation of leaders walking a path they once followed themselves.
Watching current students engage with alumni who once stood in their shoes was a powerful reminder of why student leadership matters. Representation, relatability and real-life success stories made the messages resonate even more deeply.
The conference reflected the ambition we hold for every one of our students, to develop confidence, character and the skills needed to make a meaningful impact beyond college.
Thank You
A huge thank you to Abi Abidoye and Tabitha Bonfield for delivering outstanding sessions that challenged, motivated and inspired our ambassadors.
We are also incredibly grateful to University Studies at West Suffolk College for providing such a fantastic venue. The XR Lab was a particular highlight of the day and a space our students thoroughly enjoyed.
This conference was a celebration of student voice, leadership and aspiration, and a reminder that when students lead, incredible things happen.
